The MSc in Adapted Physical Activity Leadership (APAL) has been developed to respond to an increase in demand for highly skilled professionals who can take a leadership role in developing this emerging discipline in Europe. The taught level 9 programme has been developed in line with the European Standards in Adapted Physical Activity (2010) and builds on the strong health and leisure undergraduate honours degree programmes.

The 3rd International Conference on "Theory and practice in adapted physical activity" will take place in Olsztyn at the Józef Rusiecki Olsztyn University College (OSW) from 25 to 26th of September 2013. The Conference is organized by Polish Scientific Association of Adapted Physical Activity (PTN-AAF), OSW and the Chair of Theory and Methodology of Teaching Movement at Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw. Keskuspuisto Vocational College in association with the Finnish Sports Association of Persons with Disabilities will host the first CampAbilities-camp in Finland.
CampAbilities -camps are international sports and recreation camps for youth with vision impairment. Our camp will host youth of the ages 14-18. Similar camps have been organized for over on 15 years in the USA. The dates for the camp are the 10th-14th June 2013. So in summer Finland will become APA FUNLAND!!! Be there or be sorry!
