The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is committed to furthering research in the areas of interest of the Paralympic Movement. This includes, but is not limited to research in Paralympic Sport, Disability Sport Classification, Sport Counseling, Assistive Technology, Athletic Identity Marketing and Branding, Development and Public Awareness.
To this end, the IPC launches a ‘Call for Research Applications' for projects to be conducted at the occasion of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games (12 - 21 March 2010).

The second issue of the official journal of EUFAPA - EUROPEAN JOURNAL OF ADAPTED PHYSICAL ACTIVITY has been published. The second issue of European Journal of Adapted Physical Activity (EUJAPA) has been published ONLINE on the website of EUFAPA (http://www.eufapa.eu/). The second issue of EUJAPA is focused on Inclusion of Students with Disabilities into General Physical Education. As the topic of inclusion is vey wide the articles focus on different aspects of Inclusion. The first article by Aija Klavina (Latvia) focuses on the effect of peer-mediated and teacher - directed instructions on the activity engagement time of students with severe and multiple disabilities.

„Community for sharing and networking with the aim to enhance APA as profession and scientific discipline". This webpage was prepared as one of the project of European Federation of Adapted Physical Activity. When I say project, I do not mean funded project, but intensive cooperation of all EUFAPA board members. The idea of webpage was "born" during the first meeting of newly elected EUFAPA board in Olomouc in September 2007.
